He is currently on sabbatical, studying in a Yeshiva in Jerusalem. As a guest speaker for Rabbi Klatzko's Akiva Trip, Alex enthralled the visiting American college students with his journey to the top of the music world, followed by the challenges that faced him when the demands of the industry jeopardized his Shabbat observance. Alex inspired the Akiva Trip with his soulful melodies as well as his commitment to Jewish values.
