Six alarm fire on 7th Ave in Brooklyn

A Six alarm fire that broke out late Wednesday afternoon at an apartment complex in Sunset Park was finally extinguished by firefighters who battled strong winds along with the stubborn blaze. More than 20 of the injured were firefighters, with five policemen also hurt. The fire in the building on 7th Ave. and 44th Street injured 32 people and left more than 60 people homeless.
