The most emotional song I've ever sung: "Ani Maamin" – introduced on the way to the concentration camps, sung with two very special bands – the Holocaust Survivor Band and the Israeli Soldiers Band. Both bands, in uniform, saluted the Holocaust survivors and the Nova Festival survivors in attendance.
The soldiers, whose job is to play music and bring joy to the troops, and the survivors, who made it their mission to play music and bring joy to Am Yisrael, came together on one stage, for one unforgettable night.
Today, as we commemorate the Holocaust, let us vow: Never again! We wish our troops safety and success, both those on the front lines and those bringing them joy. May we ensure that "never again" becomes a reality!
