A large number of police officers and medics were filmed on the site of the rocket blast in the city of Ashdod, on Sunday, where a man identified as Pinchas Menachem Pashwazman was killed after the latest round of violence between Israel and forces in the Gaza Strip. Footage shows police cordoning off the building hit by the rocket earlier on Sunday, as the violence between Israel and Gaza rages on. According to reports, the victim was in his early twenties and leaves a wife and a four-month-old baby behind. He was found on the staircase of the building in a serious condition and later died in hospital, becoming the fourth Israeli civilian killed on Sunday by missile strikes from Gaza. At least eight Palestinians have been killed in the violence in the enclave. On Saturday, the Israeli military launched airstrikes against Gaza, claiming them to be in response to hundreds of rockets fired into southern Israel from the enclave.
