This year’s Passover felt different.
We stood at the edge of something that felt historic… even redemptive. With war in Israel, rising global tension, and the powerful symbolism of the seventh day of Passover—the day the sea split—we expected something BIG.
But it didn’t happen the way we imagined.
Instead of a miracle, we got a ceasefire.
Instead of clarity, we were left with questions.
So what do we do when redemption doesn’t come on our timeline?
In this deeply personal and spiritual reflection, we explore:
Faith during war in Israel
The tension between expectation and trust (bitachon)
Lessons from Parshat Shemini, Nadav & Avihu, and Aharon’s silence
What it really means to trust God when things don’t make sense
Maybe the sea didn’t split…
But maybe something else is unfolding.
