Sruli grew up surrounded by music, and although he learned the art of song from many talented instructors, his true mentor was his grandfather, Rabbi Michel Twerski of Milwaukee. This collection of music is particularly meaningful to Sruli, as it is a reflection of his personal connection to his grandfather’s music. “Home is where the heart is” and to Sruli, that place is Milwaukee, where these songs have profoundly influenced and shaped his music career. At long last, these melodies are brought to life in a collection of tracks so powerful, they transport the listener to an experience of true heart and soul.
