Torah-Based SEL for Jewish Schools: Inside the Darcheinu & Our Path Revolution

This in-studio Darcheinu / Our Path panel brings together Mrs. Shira Berkowitz, LCSW, Rabbi Avi Landa, LCPC, and Rabbi Yisroel Grossberg, M.S. Ed. to explain how Amudim’s Torah-guided SEL curriculum is changing the conversation in Jewish schools. They describe a once-a-week, multi-year program (grades 5–12 + post-high school) that teaches emotional regulation, healthy decision-making, body image, communication, conflict resolution, and safety in dating – all through a lens that principals, Rabbanim, and parents are comfortable with. Lessons are hands-on and fun (vaping demos, “drunk goggles,” interactive activities) so the messages stick. With fully customizable tracks for yeshiva/charedi and modern Orthodox/day school worlds, constant updates, and built-in parent communication, Darcheinu and Our Path bring together evidence-based psychology and Torah sources to give our kids the skills they need long before there’s a crisis.
