Medley Yomi Venoroim: Avi Kraus & Hershele Rosenberg - מחרוזת ‏ימים ונוראים: ‏אבי ‏קראוס והרשלה רוזנברג As time swiftly passes us, the Yomim Venoroum come closer, there are four special songs that we felt had a lot of meaning to us. We were inspired by these songs when we heard them sung with harmonies on our heartfelt soul-searching journey to Uman on Rosh Hashona. There is a custom every year where a breakout of screams of all the many types of Jews who unite to release all their internal depth and emotion when they clap and scream out to the heavens "ABBA"! The famous niggun from the Rimnitzer Rebbe with its Hiemishe taam is followed by the renowned classical piece that is sung all over; Avinu Malkienu. The next two songs in the medley, Zochreinu & Meloich, are composed by a person who had a strong influence on both of our lives, R' Shlomo Carlebach. We hope that you are as moved by these tunes as much as we were.
