Firefighters responded to a burning electric scooter on Fort Hamilton Parkway at 42nd Street. Upon arrival, crews quickly contained the fire and secured the area. Hazmat personnel carefully removed the scooter’s battery to prevent any further risk of fire or hazardous material exposure.
