Join us in celebrating the remarkable life and legacy of Mrs. Rochel Lipskar, whose century-long leadership journey and dedication to Colel Chabad connect generations. Born in Russia in 1921, Rochel’s story is intertwined with the history of the oldest continuously operating tzedakah in Israel.
From the legendary efforts of her great-grandfather Mordechai Yoel during World War I to her grandfather Dovber Menachem Mendel's strategic contributions and her father's fundraising missions on behalf of Colel Chabad in the 1960s, Rochel’s family has played a pivotal role in supporting this vital organization. Her own contributions, along with those of her late husband Eliyahu Akiva, furthered Colel Chabad's mission in Toronto during the 1980s.
Today, Rochel’s children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren continue her legacy, ensuring that Colel Chabad's work endures. This video is a tribute to Mrs. Rochel Lipskar and her family's unwavering commitment to helping those in need.
Watch and be inspired by a life dedicated to charity, leadership, and the enduring spirit of community.
