Dear friends,
The second night of Chanukah reminds me that light was never meant to stay the same. One candle was enough to begin, but it was never meant to be the end.
When I stand by the candles tonight, I ask not to feel finished. Not to believe the voice that says, “That’s all you have.” Like Yosef, whose very name means to add, I pray to remember that even when I feel empty, there is still more waiting to come through me.
Another candle.
Another chance to add light.
