Over Sukkot, we visited Erfurt, Germany to perform at the Achava Festival. The Old Synagogue in Erfurt is thought to be one of the oldest standing synagogues in Europe. Jewish life in Erfurt dates back 1,000 years and continues until today, despite massacres in the 14th and 20th centuries.
On our way, we hit some bumps in the road; more accurately we were hit with a few bumps. But the show went on, and Erfurt Jewish life continues!
