Part of You A song portraying the view of a wayward child's decision to stray from his parents. The parents, although broken and disturbed with his decision, remain patient with the child with the hope and belief that he will return to them. When the day comes that he finally returns, he realizes his parents intentions and that he never truly left. This Story is a metaphor for our relationship with Hashem, who is Erech Apaim, patient to do justice in the hope that we return. Even the farthest jew, the one that has "no hope" is still connected at his core to Hashem and always has the ability to return to his father.
