Every year, R' Shlomo Yehuda Rechnitz, takes part in the Simchas Beis Hashoeiva at the Mir'er Yeshiva and delivers a keynote speech in which he presents his view on some of the most burning issues in the Jewish world. The highlight is when he teaches the Avreichim and Bochrim a new song, witch he composed specially for the event. During the event, Rabbi Shlomo Yehuda spoke of a conversation he had with the Gaon Rabbi Asher Arieli Shlit"a, about the halacha in the Shulchan Aruch, in which it is interpreted that all the songs will be Botel when Moshiach comes, except for "Mizmor L'soido". R' Asher asked him, since he is known as a famous composer, to write a song on these words, and this song will not be Botel forever. Rechnitz explained that in his opinion such a song must include all the words of the Mizmor for it to be "Sholem", and although it is not easy to compose a song like this, he wants to teach them the new song. The event in the Sucah was musically accompanied by Eli Klein, together with the "Malchus Choir", conducted by Rabbi Pinchas Bichler. Within a few minutes, the thousands learned the wonderful song and throughout the Beis Yisroel neighborhood the words of Dovid Hamelech were heard: "Deu Ki Hashem Hu Haelokim, Hu Asanu" Watch the uplifting moments from the event. מדי שנה בשנה, נוהג הנגיד ר' שלמה יהודה רכניץ להשתתף בשמחת בית השואבה בישיבת מיר ואף לשאת בה נאום מרכזי ובו הוא פורס את השקפת עולמו בנושאים הבוערים בעולם היהודי. רגע השיא באירוע, הוא שיר חדש שמלחין רכניץ במיוחד לכבוד השמחה, ואותו הוא מלמד את קהל האלפים. במהלך האירוע, סיפר ר' שלמה יהודה על שיחה שהיתה לו עם הגאון ר' אשר אריאלי שליט"א, על ההלכה בשו"ע שבה מפורש שכל השירים עתידים להיבטל לימות המשיח, חוץ מ'מזמור לתודה'. ר' אשר ביקש ממנו, מכיון שהוא ידוע כמלחין בעל שם, שילחין שיר על המילים של 'מזמור לתודה', ושיר זה לא יבטל גם לעתיד לבוא. רכניץ הסביר שלדעתו שיר כזה חייב לכלול את כל המילים של המזמור, כיון שהשיר צריך להיות "שלם", ולמרות שלא פשוט להלחין שיר כזה, הוא רוצה ללמד את הציבור את הלחן החדש. על הביצוע המיוחד בסוכת הישיבה היו אחראים המעבד אלי קליין שליווה מוזיקלית את האירוע, בליווי מקהלת 'מלכות' בניצוחו של ר' פנחס ביכלר. בתוך דקות ספורות, ציבור האלפים למד את הלחן הנפלא ובכל רחבי שכונת 'בית ישראל' נשמעו מילות המזמור "דעו כי ה' הוא האלוקים, הוא עשנו, ולו אנחנו..". צפו בביצוע המרומם מתוך האירוע Follow "Shiezoli" Wherever You Are YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/shiezoli Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/shiezoli Twitter: https://twitter.com/ShieHD Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Shiezoli Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/shiezoli Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/people/61640590@N07
