About the Artist:
Yonatan Razel is one of the most beloved voices in contemporary Jewish music. A gifted singer, composer, arranger, and conductor, Razel’s classical training and spiritual sensitivity resonate deeply across the Jewish world.
About the Composer:
This niggun was composed by Rav Tamir Granot, Rosh Yeshivat Orot Shaul in Tel Aviv. A beloved teacher and spiritual guide, he blends profound Torah insights with heartfelt melodies that are sung in yeshivos, shuls, and homes across the globe.
On October 7, 2023, Rav Granot’s son, Amitai HY”D, was murdered in the Hamas attack. In the aftermath, this niggun took on new meaning, as Yonatan Razel performed Mimkomcha together with Rav Granot, transforming it into a melody of grief, resilience, and hope for the Jewish people.
This performance was recorded live at the Avigdor’s Helping Hand Dinner and Concert, held at The Space at Westbury, New York, on September 1, 2025.
Dedicated to the memory of Amitai Granot HY”D, whose legacy lives on through Torah, song, and tefillah.

ב־7 באוקטובר 2023, בנו של הרב גרנות, עמיתי הי״ד, נרצח בפיגוע חמאס. לאחר הטרגדיה, קיבל הניגון משמעות חדשה כאשר יונתן רזאל שר את ממקומך יחד עם הרב גרנות – והוא הפך לניגון של כאב, נחמה ותקווה עבור עם ישראל.
