I composed the song after being approached by my dear friend, Yehoshua Belefeldt and his siblings shortly after their mother, Chaya Yehudis Bas Moshe Efraim A'H, tragically passed away. The Belefeldt family wanted to commission a new song in her honor with these words, which represent the quintessential "song of thanks" penned by King David (דוד המלך), and which was recited often by their mother, of blessed memory, even as her health deteriorated, and the end of her days neared. The song is a tribute to her life and legacy.  The lead vocals are sung by my dear son, Refael Klein, whose angelic soprano voice penetrates the soul, as well as my dear friend, Chesky Leibowitz, whose sweet tenor provides a warmth that is seldom found elsewhere.  After composing the song, I collaborated closely with the talented arranger, Zev Becker, to orchestrate what I believe is a masterful score, played by a full symphonic orchestra, designed to bring out each note and every chord to the fullest.  The song aims to be at once uplifting and somber, and deliberately includes the entire Psalm 100 ('פרק ק) as King David (דוד המלך) intended when he wrote these Holy words 3,000 years ago.  Please enjoy and be inspired.  Menachem Klein  For booking & more information contact: [email protected] or Israel: +972 53-3381349 USA: 516-321-1299
