Rescue operations continued at the site of Thursday's deadly building collapse in Surfside, Miami, Friday. Heavy machinery was seen in operation to remove rubble at the site of the partial collapse as 159 people remain missing. The death toll has risen to four.
"We are just sitting here, watching, waiting to see if they find more people. That's all we can do, just wait and pray, see that they find more survivors in there," said Jennifer, an estate agent.
A wing of the 12-story beachfront condominium, located just north of Miami, collapsed on Thursday at around 01:30 local time (05:30 GMT). Surfside Mayor Charles Burkett has declared that rescue efforts will continue until everyone is pulled out of the rubble, according to reports. The precise cause of the collapse is not yet known.
