Reb Pinye Korf relates his memories from the Rebbe's Farbrengen on Purim 5713. In Pesach Dovor to the Maamar from this Farbrengen, edited by the Rebbe in 5751, it states: "אמירתו היתה קשורה, כנראה, עם המאורעות שאירעו בתקופה ההיא, עד למפלתו של המושל דמדינה ההיא שהי' צורר ישראל, כפי שהבינו בשעתו מהסיפור שסיפר כ"ק אדמו"ר שליט"א - כהקדמה ובסמיכות לאמירת מאמר זה - ע"ד הוראת כ"ק אדמו"ר (מהורש"ב) נ"ע בתקופת המהפיכה לאחרי מפלתו של הקיסר".
