*DATE* : 25.10.2023; 10-11 Heshvan 5784. *PLACE* : Tel HaShomer Hospital, Ramat Gan, Israel. *Song* : "Shir LaMa'alot" (Psalm 121). ◾ On the 7th of Oct. 2023, Hamas terrorists from Gaza Strip carried out a series of massacres in multiple settlements in Israel, torturing and murdering hundreds of civilians, including women, children and the elderly. This man, whom Motty Steinmetz is singing to, is a member of the voluntary standby squad of Shlomit village in southern Israel. On that bloody day, he and his squad entered the nearby Pri Gan village and fought for hours against Hamas terrorists who intended to capture and massacre the innocent residents there. With their fighting they prevented the massacre of the entire village. This man was wounded. His best friend, who fought next to him, died. ◾ More than 1200 Israelis were murdered by merciless terrorists that day.
