After Lamed Ches they made a room for the Rebbe in the library, so that the Rebbe shouldn't have to walk home. The Rebbetzin would come before Shabbos, and stay there till after Shabbos. This is in the alley between the library & Itkin house (now the extension of the library), where they built a private Sukka for the Rebbe & Rebbetzin.
