The Satmar Rebbe, Rav Zalman Leib Teitelbaum, embarked on a historic Nesiya (journey) to Europe on May 13, 2026. Accompanied by a massive entourage of nearly 1,000 Chassidim, the Rebbe visited Mekomous HaKedoshim (holy sites) and historical centers across Europe. The trip served as a major fundraising mission for the community's expanding institutions, including a massive new beis medrash in Kiryas Yoel. also to visit holy sites, connect with the historical roots of European Jewry, and strengthen the community's connection to their heritage.
