Recorded Tisha b'Av night 5785.
This year, unlike most years, Tisha b'Av fell out Motzei Shabbos, Saturday night. And as Shabbos ended and Tisha B’Av began, Rabbi Efrem Goldberg helped guide us through the emotional and spiritual transition—from light to darkness, from song to sorrow. In this special gathering, we honored the power of Jewish memory, resilience, and unity.
This evening bridged the joy of holiness with the ache of collective grief. With the memory of the Holocaust, the pain of October 7th, and the courage of today’s IDF, we remember that we are one people with one heart—and we rise together.
🕯 Sponsored by the Grunstein and Steinberg families, this event honored the memory of those who rebuilt after devastation, and those who continue to protect and inspire.
