What I realized visiting a Monastery
Description
I visited Montserrat — a monastery carved into the mountains of Spain, towering, silent, removed from the noise of the world. For centuries, people have climbed those cliffs searching for holiness… by escaping life. And standing there, I realized something. Judaism never taught us to run from the world to become holy. We don’t climb mountains to detach. We bring holiness down into the valley. While others seek spirituality in isolation, the Jewish mission has always been different: Build homes. Raise families. Run businesses. Engage society. And infuse it all with kedusha. We don’t escape the world to find G-d. We make the world a place where G-d can dwell. That’s the revolution of Torah. That’s the power of mitzvos. That’s the Jewish way. #JudaismOnFire #Torah #Holiness #Montserrat #JewishIdentity #MakeTheWorldHoly
