Many times in life we struggle, we hope, and then we reach a breaking point. During these moments, we can remind ourselves of what the pasuk teaches: "קוה אל ה׳, חזק ויאמץ לבך, וקוה אל ה׳" Hope, and when it gets difficult, strengthen your heart, and hope again. We can never give up hoping in Hashem.
A nigun with a message this gentle, this comforting, felt like it needed to be carried by something greater - a beautiful arrangement and full orchestra to let its message reach deep, all the way to the neshama.
Lyrics:
לולא האמנתי לראות בטוב ה' בארץ חיים
קוה אל ה' חזק ויאמץ לבך וקוה אל ה
Translation:
If not for my belief that I would see the goodness of Hashem in the land of the living.
Hope to Hashem; be strong and let your heart be strengthened, and hope to Hashem.
