Morris Family Hachnosas Sefer Torah

When Mr. & Mrs. Moshe Morris of London decided to dedicate a Sefer Torah in memory of their grandparents, they had no clue how uncanny the timing of their decisions would turn out to be. R' Moshe recently had to undergo an emergency procedure, after which the doctors told him that he would be unable to move or lift anything for quite a while. The date which they told him that he may resume normal movements just "happened" to be the same as the date that the Hachnosas Sefer Torah had been scheduled for - months before! And so it was, among much pomp and celebration, that R' Moshe carried an item for the first time since the procedure - the precious Sefer Torah. Joy radiated from the faces of the participants as the Sefer Torah made its way from the Morris home in Rechaviya to join the other Sifrei Torah at Yeshiva Netzach Yisrael, which was established by HaRav Guspman ZT"L. The dancing in the beis medrash was followed by a festive seuda at the Keyara restaurant in the neighborhood. Among the distinguished guests at the event were the Dushinsky Rebbe, the Roshei Yeshiva of Kol Torah, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinvitch, and the Rosh HaYeshiva of Netzach Yisroel, HaRav Michel Berniker (S.
