JERUSALEM, ISRAEL - DECEMBER 14, 2013 - EDITORIAL NEWS VIDEO
As both highways into Jerusalem are shut down and the only vehicles navigating the highways are IDF tanks and emergency convoys, the train out of Malha station in Jerusalem remains the only way for civilians to leave the city as it remains blanketed in snow and ice during the ongoing blizzard. However, due to the melting snow, the tracks near Lod station were flooded, causing train delays both ways, and causing some trains to be stuck with their passengers overnight.
