Tense scuffles erupted between protesters and counter-protesters at a pro-Palestine rally in New York City on Tuesday, with several arrests reported.
The rally was held in solidarity with the victims of evictions in the Sheikh Jarrah area in Jerusalem as well as the victims of rocket launches in Gaza.
Violence has erupted in recent days amid protests in East Jerusalem over possible evictions of Palestinian families from Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood.
Clashes that began at the Al-Aqsa compound escalated into an exchange of rockets between Hamas and Israel on Monday.
