Israeli police briefly detained a number of people at the entrance to the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in East Jerusalem on Friday.
Officers chose people out of the crowd walking by and made them wait under a tent. The reasons for detentions were not clear.
It comes as hundreds of worshippers entered the compound where they held Friday prayers and celebrated the ceasefire announced between Hamas and Israel.
