Description

A beautiful project done for a fundraiser LI"N Sruli Schwartz A"H. Our community is still reeling from the horrific accident this past May. When HaBucher Yisroel Schwartz was tragically taken from us before his prime. While biking on his way to Yeshiva one early morning, he was unfortunately sidetracked by a car driver opening his door. Yisroel was forced to swerve into oncoming traffic and was hit by a truck. Sadly, he was declared dead on the way to the hospital. What a tragedy! His family and friends were left bitterly inconsolable. Yisroel was a special Bucher who left his mark on whomever he encountered. By his devastating Levayah, hundreds of his peers, teachers, and Rabbaim were sobbing uncontrollably as eulogy after eulogy described his warm personality and dedication to Torah and heartfelt Teffilos. Yisroel’s Avodas Hashem was brought to a screeching halt. Unable to continue learning Torah or doing Mitzvohs, his legacy is in danger of being lost forever. His family, friends, and acquaintances are unwilling to allow that to happen. They have come together with a plan to dedicate the new Bais Hamedresh, ShivtaiYisroel, Bluzhev – Ribatitch in his name. Thus, perpetually enshrining his name on a Makom Kadosh. Every word of prayer and Torah study will be made in the Zechus of Yisroel’s Neshamah. It is most appropriate that Yisroel who was named after the previous Bluzhever Rebbe Zy”a have his memoryforever interwoven with the new Bluzhever shul. The Rebbe who was a holocaust survivor rebuilt his life in Brooklyn and was a tremendous influence in the neighborhood. The new shul will be a bastion of Torah and Teffilah and Yisroel’s Legacy will be able to live on eternally. https://www.charidy.com/sruly
