This second class on this Ma'amar basi Legani (the first of three in a hemshech) deals with the unusual and novle idea of צמצומים לפני צמצום הראשון. The Rebbe explains that altough logic isn't the determining factor about levels 'up there' but Kabbalah; but once kabbalah (the Alter Rebbe actually) asserts that they are there we study them logically. At the low end is צמצום הראשון and the many צמצומים that follow it. On the high end is the צמצום for the sake of יכולת; and in between there (at least) three צמצומים (as per three levels in חפץ חסד before צמצום).
