We begin the book with the introduction to the gate - here we begin to find out how to ascend the levels of the ladder to greatness as proscribed by the Torah wisdom which was bequeathed to us over 3300 years ago. It is not the wisdom or 'world outlook' of human beings, but rather that of the Creator Himself, who imbued this wisdom into all of reality.
