While monitoring multiple active cases inside Shmira’s surveillance HQ, a volunteer spotted on camera a suspect attempting car door handles, on 17th Avenue and 43rd Street. The volunteer continued tracking the individual across the camera system while immediately alerting the night shift team who arrived on the scene and apprehended the suspect. The perpetrator was then taken into custody by the NYPD.
