Coming to the Seder excited, Rabbi Yossi Paltiel - 5786

Description

This class given at Beis Rivkah seminary was about preparation for Pesach. We talked about how children LOVE Yom Tov but as they age their interest diminishes (fast). We talked about Chinuch and what it would take to keep young adults and teenagers excited about the Seder. Little children need little preparation and they come very excited; adults need more meaningful preparation. I challenge the girls to spiritually get themselves ready for a meaningful Seder by doing whatever it takes to make this Seder something that they want to be at and that they will enjoy in a way.
