The original 5 Kolos was one of the pioneers of the EP format in chasidic music and with siyata dishmaya both the format and content was very well received. 5 Kolos #2 was originally scheduled to be released nearly a year ago in October, but was postponed due to the matzav in Eretz Yisroel. It is now scheduled for release on Rosh Chodesh Elul and will be equal parts simcha, hartz and inspiration in preparation for the new year. As on the previous EP, the very talented duo composed of Eli Klein and Yitzy Berry were the masters behind this project, arranging and producing the album as well as composing some of the infectious, highly singable tracks. Among a choice collection of moving, sweeping and exciting songs carefully selected, the EP includes a surprise duet with R’ Hershy Rotenberg on the standout ‘Nagen Hamenagen’ composition.
