Under the chuppa is one of the most auspicious times to daven. When I sat down to write this song, I tried to capture what I davened for under my own chuppa; asking Hashem from the perspective of a servant (Shema Tefilas Avdecha) to give us shalom, simcha, children and grandchildren who will be talmidei chachomim, and all of the other hopes for building a Bayis Neeman B'Yisrael. My hope is that this song helps the Chasan and Kallah connect to the power of Tefillah on this special day.
