The last time I went to Barcelona was in 2017 I think in the 6 years between my two visits the city has changed. The first time I went it felt a lot more upperclass and a cleaner place. This time it felt it bit too touristy and felt more unsafe with the majority of people there not being Spanish. I definitely will not run back to visit however I still had a nice time.
