Williamsburg, Brooklyn - A child was struck and killed by a truck at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Heyward Street in Williamsburg.
The accident happened at around 5:45 p.m. Thursday May 12 2011,
The child, said to be about 4 or 5 years old, died at the scene.
It appears he ran out between two parked cars and was struck by a truck.
The driver of the truck remained at the scene. No charges are expected to be filed.
