After years of petitioning the town of Ramapo for sidewalks which would ensure the safety of pedestrians at West Carlton and Pine Roads, the town has listened to the pleas of the community and installed walkways and streetlights in this area.
A large crowd of onlookers and community leaders were on hand for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, headed by Supervisor Michael Specht, who was thanked by those in attendance for his leadership in this matter.
