JERUSALEM, ISRAEL - SEPTEMBER 23, 2012 -
As Yom Kippur nears, people make their way to street corners and alleyways all over Yerushalayim and Eretz Yisroel to preform kapparos with chickens. Many of the central kapparos centers in Yerushalayim are managed by tzeddakah organizations that donate the chickens after they are shechted to the needy.
