Self-Expression
Self-expression is the essence of human existence. In Judaism, human beings are called medaber - speakers - but most of us grew up learning to say what others wanted to hear. That's not true self-expression. It's just expression, shaped by expectation.
Many people don't even know what they really want to say, as years of conforming buried their authentic voice. God created people for expression, creativity and innovation. Self-expression is the hallmark of humanity.
In The Possible You, we finally get the courage to stop saying what others want to hear and start speaking from our essence. No, it doesn't mean you'll say wild things or wear purple polka-dotted shirts. There's a way to express yourself that's still appropriate— but it has to be you. When you're fully self-expressed, you leave nothing unsaid. You don't lie awake wishing you had shared more of yourself, your truth, your love. Don't die with your words unsaid. Don't die with your song yet unsung.
