I was left paralyzed and lost the ability to move and speak on my own. Yet I still have My Smile, and I use that as a means to connect to and empower those around me. One day the following idea came to mind- being mekayim the mitzva of matanos levyonim through sharing a smile. If one takes away someone's smile he has essentially stolen from him. On the contrary, if one shares a smile he has given something of immeasurable value thereby fulfilling the mitzva of matanos levyonim.
