JERUSALEM, ISRAEL - MAY 2, 2013 -
In what can only be viewed as reckless Israel entrepreneurship, the newest attraction for kids in the Gush 80 neighborhood of Jerusalem is golf cart rides. While definitely not old enough to hold driver licenses, the battery operated vehicles are deemed the perfect outlet for the neighborhood children. However, local parents and storekeepers are less than thrilled, especially considering that some of the children navigate the golf cart out of the local "safe" alleyways and into busy thoroughfare nearby such as Golda Meir Boulevard, even in the presence of emergency services. It is unknown who owns the golf cart.
