This erev sukkos, American philanthropist Ira Rennert dedicated 12 Sifrei Torah in memory of Israeli victims of acts of terror and accidents. They are to be donate to the communities of the victims. The kesiva of the Sifrei Torah took place at Yeshivas Netiv Aryeh, overlooking the Kosel. Among the guests of honor at the event, hosted by Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Aaron Binah, was the Toldos Avrohom Yitzchok Rebbe, Rabbi Meir Lau, Chief Rabbi of Tel Aviv, Rabbi Haskel Lookstein of Kehilat Jeshurun of New York, and Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitz of the Kosel.
