During the 1950s and 60s, Nichoach, the Chabad division of Nigunim had a group of Chasidim who rehearsed to decide which Nigunim would be on the Lubavitch records. Additionally, they also would decide which Nigunim to sign at the Rebbe's Farbrengens.
On this recording one hears Reb Yoel, Reb Heska and Reb Shamshon sing, made comments and share nuances of Nigunim they heard from their parents and other venerable Chasidim.
It's a must listen because it brings to life authentic Chabad.
