The mishna in pirkei avos says, איזהו אשיר? השמח בחלקו! Which means, “who is rich? He who is happy with what he has!”
For a long time I was struggling with one thing, I always wanted more than what I had, I was never happy with what I was given, I was never happy with the things that I had, I wanted more, I wanted different, and worse, I wanted what the next person had.
It took a while to realize and to understand that living like this ultimately took away my happiness, it took away my piece of mind, it took away everything, being happy is the most important thing, and being happy is what makes what we have valuable.

A person isn’t rich because he has a lot of money, rather a poor person who’s happy is richer than the richest person!
Be happy and you’ll be rich!
