הרעיון להקליט פסנתר אקוסטי בלופר עלה לי כשניגנתי עם ניצן חן בן דודי היקר אשר הפליא לנגן בכינור תוך כדי שימוש בהעלאות שונות של "פיציקטו" ושאר גוונים שונים .
התעכבתי והתעכבתי ...כהרגלי
ומאז, השימוש בלופר בכל מיני וריאציות הולך ונעשה נפוץ ומפורסם יותר, אך בכל זאת עדיין רציתי לנסות ולראות מה יוצא ממני במפגש הזה ...
התנגשות הרבדים והצלילים אחד בשני, כשרק רגע אחד לפני כן ניגנת אותם , כמו גלים העולים ממעמקים , מרגש אותי כל פעם מחדש והוא פותח אצלי המון אופציות יצירתיות חדשות .
