Ingredients
• ¼ head of cabbage, thinly sliced
• 1 small–medium carrot, shredded
• 1 cup mayonnaise
• ½ cup water
• 1–1½ tsp vinegar
• 1 tsp salt
• 2 tbsp sugar
Steps
1. Toss the cabbage and carrot with the salt and sugar. Let it sit for a bit—this softens the cabbage and draws out flavor.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, water, and vinegar until smooth.
3. Mix everything together and chill before serving.
