This song is attributed to Rabbi Levi Yitzchok of Berditchev (1740-1809). Known as the 'defender of Israel', R Levi Yitzchok always looked for the positive in each person and every situation. His compositions are well known for their candor and heart-felt simplicity. "If only I could, I would shout out loud to the world, how beautiful Shabbos is!"
