This is a vintage Chabad nigun, over 150 years old. A nigun in the chasidic lexicon is a melody, usually worldless, that one can use to connect inward with their soul. Meditative and soulful, it speaks the souls language, which can not be encompassed in words.
On a Friday eve in 1934, Rav Moshe Tzvi Neria began singing this melody after Yedid Nefesh and the tradition has continued ever since.

Jewish music is the soundtrack to our lives. At every milestone, holiday or mitzva, it enhances and enlivens our experience and service of Hashem.
