The Torah, as described by King Solomon (Proverbs 3:18, 17), is a tree of life. When we hold fast to the ways of the torah, it will bring us the best kind of life. Success comes through acting in a pleasant and peaceful way, for those are the ways of the Torah.
This melody was composed by Tanchum Portnoy, whom I had the honor to meet at a recent wedding, and originally appeared on his Tanchumin album in 1975.
